Wise POS E Payment Terminal: Power Cycling

This article details each step to Power Cycle your Wise POS E Payment Terminal.

Power the Wise POS E Payment Terminal OFF

Remove your Terminal from the dock

In dock...

Out of dock...

Press and hold the power button (located on the right hand side of the terminal) until the "Power Off / Restart" window appears, and release the power button.

In the "Power off / Restart" window, touch Power off

Touch OK

The terminal will power off and the screen will turn black.

Allow the terminal to be turned off for at least 30 seconds.

If you are instructed by an iPOS Support Team member to Remove / Replace the battery, follow the instructions in this article.

Power the Wise POS E Payment Terminal ON

Press and hold the power button until the terminal starts to power on.

When the terminal is on the idle screen (Lightspeed logo in the middle) the Terminal is ready for use

Please be sure to perform a test transaction and confirm the terminal is operating properly.
