If you receive this error, you must immediately reset your password to access Lightspeed Retail R Series . Gollow the below steps:
- Click "Reset Password button" on the pop up screen or click here.
- An email will be sent to reset the password, follow directions on the screen.
NOTE: If any users do not have an actual email address tied to them, an Admin must manually update the password for each employee.
To change an employee's password in LSR:
- Navigate to "Settings" -> "Employee Setup".
- Click the name of the employee whose password you want to change.
- Click "Sign In".
- In the "New Password" field, enter the new password (must be at least ten characters long).
- In the "Re-type Password" field, enter the same password again.
- Click "Save Changes".
Tips for Strong Passwords
Longer is better: Aim for passwords with 12-16 or more characters. Longer passwords are significantly harder to crack.
Mix it up: Include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols (like @, #, $, %, etc.).
Randomness: Avoid using dictionary words, personal information (birthdates, names, etc.), or easily predictable patterns (like "123456" or "password" or "Admin").
