To update your bank information when the access code is being sent to an old email, you'll need to update your primary email address first.
Only the Lightspeed billing department can change the primary email in the system. You'll need to contact them to request this change. The primary email is used to verify your identity with an access code sent to your email to make changes to your business or banking information. Updating the email address associated with your user will NOT update the primary email address on file.
To contact Lightspeed billing and update your primary email address:
Email billing@lightspeedhq.com
Include the following information:
- Account ID (found when clicking help from within Lightspeed R-Series)
- Business Name
- New email address and contact name
Note: Your Lightspeed Account Manager can also make this request on your behalf.
