How to Reset Your Receipt Printer

Please follow the below steps to perform a reset on your receipt printer.

Star receipt printer

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the receipt printer.
2. Press and hold the "Feed" button on the front of the printer.
3. While holding the "Feed" button, plug the power cable back into the back of the receipt printer.
4. Release the "Feed" button once the diagnostic page has finished printing.

Citizen receipt printer

1. Either unplug the power cable from the back of the receipt printer or turn the power off via the power switch.
2. Press and hold the "Feed" button on the front of the printer.
3. While holding the "Feed" button, either plug the power cable back into the back of the receipt printer or turn the power back on via the power switch.
4. Release the "Feed" button and wait until the diagnostic page has finished printing.

EPSON receipt printer

1. Either unplug the power cable from the back of the receipt printer or turn the power off via the power switch.
2. Press and hold the "Feed" button on the front of the printer.
3. While holding the "Feed" button, either plug the power cable back into the back of the receipt printer or turn the power back on via the power switch.
4. Release the "Feed" button and wait until the diagnostic page has finished printing.
5. When the diagnostic page completes printing, press the "Feed" button again.
