How to Create an iPOS Support Employee in Lightspeed Retail R Series
With all our customers, our support team is setup as an employee with owner permissions so we can address any issues that may arise.
To create an employee for iPOS Support team:
- From the main menu, click "Settings" -> "Employee Setup" -> "+ New Employee".
- Enter the employee’s first name (iPOS) and last name (Support).
- Assign them an employee role (Owner).
- Click "Save Changes".
- Click "Sign In" tab (on the left under details).
- Enter the Login Name (email address) - use your business name @individualpos.com.
- (example: yourbusinessname@individualpos.com)
- Enter and re-type a password (we suggest Admin!2345 - if using something different, please note this to iPOS).
- Click "Save Changes".
- Notify iPOS Support once complete and provide credentials to login.
Suggested Credentials
First Name: iPOS
Last name: Support
email: yourbusinessname@individualpos.com
passwd: Admin!2345
