Configure a Cipherlabs 2564 Barcode Scanner to Transmit the UPC-E System Number and Other Settings for Use With Revel POS

By default, the Cipherlabs 2564 barcode scanner is set to not transmit the UPC-E system number.

You must change the configuration to enable the UPC-E system number to be transmitted by the scanner.

This configuration will first restore the default settings on the scanner and then program it accordingly.

  1. Scan the barcode below to restore the default settings on the scanner.

  1. Scan the barcode below to enter the setup for the scanner.

  1. Scan the barcode below to configure the scanner to be in presentation mode.

  1. Scan the barcodes below from left to right to configure the power saving duration to be disabled.

  1. Scan the barcodes below from left to right to configure Auto Power Off to be disabled.

  1. Scan the barcode below to configure the scanner to transmit the system number for UPC-E barcodes.

  1. Scan the barcode below to save the configuration changes made to the scanner.

  1. Finally scan the barcode on the bottom of the dock outlined in red for the Cipherlabs 2564 bluetooth scanner to pair the scanner with the dock.  Please note: Do not scan the barcode in the picture below as you need to scan the barcode on your dock.
